The Difference Between a Bench Trial and a Jury Trial
If you are going to fight your OUI case, you must decide on whether you want a bench trial or a jury trial. While much goes into this decision, the steaks are even higher in the Uxbridge District Court. The reason for this is that all bench trials stay in Uxbridge, where there is only one judge sitting each day, and all jury trials go to Worcester. There are benefits and downsides to having a trial in each court. Because of this, you will need an experienced Uxbridge OUI Attorney to advise you on what decision makes the most sense for your particular case.
